Production in Germany for nearly 50 years

With our extensive machinery for flexographic printing and slitting, for the production of thread-reinforced adhesive tapes and for the manufacture of EasyPackers® carry handles, for laminating, for the insertion of perforations or adhesive neutral zones and for the production of hand rolls or machine rolls, smooth or cross-wound, we have the necessary flexibility to create customized adhesive tape solutions.

PRINTING

Flexographic printing with up to 4 true colors in surface printing and up to 8 true colors in sandwich printing. Additional colors can be achieved using various anilox rollers. We work with flexible polymer cliché plates or sleeve clichés (without attachment points for continuous print images and negative printing). For EasyPackers® carry handles, we work with flexographic or offset printing, depending on the material of the handle zone.

special dimensions

In addition to the usual standard dimensions in each product group, INDUPLAST offers special dimensions in any desired individual width and length with its own slitting department. Depending on the type of adhesive tape, we manufacture narrow widths from a minimum width of 4 mm and maximum running lengths of up to 2000 m smoothly wound and 20,000 m cross-wound.

SPECIAL COLORS

INDUPLAST manufactures according to Pantone, RAL or HKS color specifications or according to customer color samples. Special colors in neon or metallic are also possible, depending on the type of adhesive tape.

THREAD REINFORCEMENT

Threads are applied to the adhesive zone to increase tear resistance. These are usually white polyester threads. Alternatively, INDUPLAST offers both colored polyester threads and reinforcement threads made from natural raw materials as a sustainable version. The threads are applied lengthwise and/or with a sinus curve. Variable design possible, such as SK3, SK 4, longitudinal reinforcement only.

LAMINATING

Adhesive tapes are laminated to protect the printed image on printed adhesive tapes from abrasion, weathering and liquids or as a barrier for color migration or other technical requirements. Various adhesive tapes or adhesive tapes with a film layer can be laminated. When manufacturing EasyPackers® carry handles, we can laminate different materials (foam, film, paper) in the carrying zone.

ADHESIVE NEUTRAL ZONE

Adhesive neutral zones make sense for adhesive tapes that need to be easily removed from the surface. These are so-called “finger lift” solutions such as resealable tapes or double-sided adhesive tapes, non-adhesive carrying zones (grip area) and handles for carrying handles and generally everywhere where certain areas are to be excluded from bonding. The adhesive-neutral zone is designed according to individual requirements.

PERFORATION

Many adhesive tapes cannot be torn off by hand. Depending on the type of adhesive tape, they can be equipped with a perforation in the transverse direction so that individual strips of adhesive tape can be torn off by hand.

PERFORATION WITH GRIP TAB

The perforation zone is non-adhesive. This results in “grips” that make it easier to cut off a perforated adhesive strip. This adhesive strip can then simply be applied to a surface – for example as a carry handle.

CROSS-WOUND SPOOL

In cross-wound spooling, the adhesive tape is wound onto a core that is a multiple of the width of the adhesive tape. This results in extremely long running lengths of adhesive tape that are well suited for machine processing (advantage: fewer roll changes). Adhesive tapes with a maximum running length of 20,000 m can be wound (depending on the type of adhesive tape, width of the adhesive tape and reel diameter).

INDIVIDUAL SOLUTIONS

INDUPLAST processes individual requests/requirements that are not yet covered by the existing product range. Continuous further development in manufacturing and knowledge of the technical possibilities lead to new product and application solutions of a completely individual nature.

Technical innovations and advancements are our top priority to ensure flexibility in the future and further expand our manufacturing capabilities.

The processes themselves as well as the base materials and raw materials used are continuously developed with a focus on both efficiency and sustainability. In cooperation with suppliers, we are pushing for further improvements in more sustainable adhesive tape solutions, particularly in terms of backing materials, adhesive coatings and printing inks.

Pre-press and graphics in-house

Our graphics department, responsible for the creation of layouts and graphic artwork as well as the production of printing plates, which is also done in-house, are further guarantees of high flexibility and speed of response. This enables us to handle urgent requests for customized adhesive tape solutions quickly and on short notice.
